Valuation GAP
Valuation GAP covers the difference between the valuation of the vehicle at the time of purchase of the GAP policy and the insurer payout at the time of a claim.
Return to Invoice GAP
Provided your vehicle was purchased within 15 months of taking out your GAP policy, then this product will pay the difference between the insurer pay out following a total loss claim, and the amount paid for the vehicle as per the original invoice.
Finance GAP
Finance GAP offers the same protection as Valuation GAP and also includes any additional interest on the settlement figure from the finance company.
Contract Lease/Hire GAP
Contract Lease/Hire GAP offers the same protection as Finance GAP and is payable to the lease or contract company, resolving any outstanding payments over and above the amount of payout of the vehicle. For example, if a vehicle is on a lease for three years at a cost of £500 per month, then that is an £18,000 agreed contract.
